Go for Growth: Advice, Expertise and Training for business owners on the Isle of Wight
Digital Islands has been awarded funding to provide a business support service called Go for Growth. This means the services provided are free for eligible startups, sole traders, partnerships, CICs and Limited companies based on the Isle of Wight.
Developed by Digital Islands, the programme has been created for businesses to improve productivity and support their business resilience and aid growth. It is fully funded by the Isle of Wight Council, HM Government and the European Regional Development Fund.
The programme provides an opportunity an opportunity for an external review of the business, to identify strengths as well as areas where the input of expertise or advice would be of value.
Go for Growth: Comprehensive Business Support for Isle of Wight Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners
Go For Growth is a programme that provides the owners of small, independent businesses on the Island with access to a team of 15 specialists offering support across seven areas:
Marketing and Branding
Finance and Funding
Human Resources
Technology and Digitisation
Innovation
Exporting and Strategy
The support on offer is through an initial 1 to 1 business health check, expert led workshops with small groups of local business owners, and specialist support from the programme team.
Go for Growth: Transform Your Business with Personalized Action Plans and Expert Mentoring
The courses involve group workshops and 1:1 mentoring, through a mixture of in-person support (based at Building 41) and online support. On successful completion of the course you will leave with an action plan specific to your business to make immediate positive improvements to your business.
